Passive remote entry systems, sometimes named keyless entry systems, have several life-changing perks. The most popular perk of a keyless system is the convenience it provides. Got your hands full? You’ll never get into a hot car again, simply use the Remote Start and allow your car to cool off before you drive away.
A Smart Key is an electronic way (fob, smartphone app, key card) that is used to remotely access a car. The buttons for your wireless functions are located on the Smart Key itself. The Smart Key then transmits signals to the car to lock the doors, open the hatch, and so on. Some cars will not start without the Smart Key, as they are part of the anti-theft system.
