The Kansas Department of Public Safety doesn’t mandate vehicle inspections or emissions tests. Safety inspections, however, are always a good idea when it comes to the safe operations of motor vehicles, as well as the longevity of your car. We provide complimentary inspections as part of most service packages and are always happy to help. Stop in today to learn more.
The state of Kansas doesn’t mandate a periodic inspection for non-commercial vehicles. However, the state has a Motor Vehicle Enforcement (MVE) that mandates a VIN inspection on certain vehicles before they receive a Kansas title and registration. The VIN inspection is required for: all out-of-state vehicles, a reconstructed vehicle, and when the proper vehicle identification of the vehicle is in doubt.
I had the engine starter on my 2019 X5 replaced as part of a warranty program issue. The service rep Stephen C. was very good. He was at the door when I brought my vehicle into the shop. He was appropriately friendly, made me feel comfortable and was clear about the next steps for the replacement & the expected length of time necessary. He was refreshingly professional and honest.
A great experience as always. My car came back timely, and the service reps were helpful as always.
My representative was helpful and professional. The service was performed and car was ready when promised. Good experience.
I bought my car there and bought their warranty but 2 days later had problems with the car and was told to "call a Lincoln dealership and take it there". The worst after I spent my money there to be told 2 days later nah we're not going to help you take it somewhere else. Highly disappointed in BMW, they are the wish version of luxury!!!
BMW of Shawnee Mission is great, kind, fun, clean and fun to work with. They know everything about BMW and service of your vehicles.
